Research lines in Heritage Science
• Two patents for non destructive analyses of stone materials: PETTR : defines and classifies the color of granular materials,and PANOPTES to get the mineral contours in slabs of mono-mineral rocks, both applied to basic research and in quality controls in stone industry;
• Textures of satellite imagery for ambiental controls and hazard mitigation;
• Development of efficient tools to simulate cleaning of paintings and sculptures;
• History of science through geometric interpretation of architectural artefacts and ancient maps.
Instrumentation
• 1 Py-GC/MS, 2 GC/MS, 1 HPLC-DAD-Fluorescence, 1 HPLC-ESI-Q-TOF, optical microscopes (SCIBEC laboratory)
