Research lines in Heritage Science
Historical research on anatomy and medicine, with special regards to: anatomical and archaeological (Precolombian and Egyptian) collections and anatomical models of the museum of human anatomy of the University of Pisa; manuscripts and ancient books of the anatomical library; original investigations on medical figures and their masterpieces. A particular attention is focused on preservation and restoration of anatomical collections.
