Research lines in Heritage Science
• Research design in Archaeological petrology, archaeometry of lithic materials and ceramics, application and development of innovative and non-invasive analytical methods for the characterization of raw materials, prehistoric stone artefacts, and raw material sourcing in archaeology (lithics, ceramics).
• Research design in Absolute dating and radiocarbon chronology.
• Research design in Paleoenvironmental and geoarchaeological sampling for reconstructing ancient landscapes and ecosystems.
• Study of the Neolithization process, Prehistory of the Mediterranean countries.
• Study of prehistoric technology combining use-wear analysis of stone artefacts.

• Responsible of the Laboratory of Prehistory, Department of Civilizations and Forms of Knowledge;
• Reviewer for Archaeometry, Journal of Archaeological Sciences, Quaternary International, PlosOne, Geoarchaeology, Journal of Field Archaeology;
• Member of the Greek-Italian archaeological expedition on Limnos island (Greece) and Grevena (Pindus-Greece) survey project.
